Alyssa is originally from the suburbs of Chicago and has made Minnesota her home. Alyssa first got involved with the world of Recreation by practicing gymnastics for 10 years in her youth, and has chosen a career in this field because she believes in the holistic values that recreation programs have to offer communities as well as individuals. She likes staying active with swimming and hiking, as well as relaxing with movies and tv shows. She has a cat named Tuna.
