General FAQ's

FAQ: What do I do if there is bad weather?

RevSports does not typically communicate when weather is questionable because we don't intend to cancel unless facilities are unplayable. If the weather is poor or the forecast looks questionable, we most likely will not cancel in advance since we try to offer the class whenever possible. Please do not hesitate to call the park or school partner directly if you are wondering if class will be cancelled, since often times they will make that decision. If we do need to cancel, they will be the first to know. In the case of thunder or lightning, the class will be stopped for at least 15 minutes. Any person may choose to not participate, but reschedules can be tricky or not feasible, so we prefer to push through when possible!

FAQ: What do I need to bring to a program?

Class: Water bottle, good pair of shoes that are easy to run in (cleats are welcome for outdoor sports). To find out more about classes Click Here.

Camp: Lunch (if staying through the lunch period), snacks for the day, water bottle, good tennis shoes that are easy to run and kick with. To find out more about camps Click Here.

Note: RevSports provides all equipment a child will need for the activity with the exception of:

Baseball/T-Ball/Softball:  We do not provide gloves. Feel free to bring gloves to these activities, however, they are not necessary to enjoy the class as we use equipment that does not require a glove.

Tennis: We recommend that the child brings his or her own racket to class. However, instructors usually have a few extras just in case.

FAQ: What do I wear to a program?

For all programs we ask that you dress appropriate for the weather.  Layers are always encouraged. We do ask that children wear appropriate athletic shoes that give support for the child to run and be active in. Cleats are optional for outdoor programs, but are discouraged for day camps.

faq: If my player cannot make a session, can I attend another location?

As a rule, unfortunately not. We discourage this, in particular for the younger kids, because consistency with a coach, location, and group of classmates is important in a young player's overall comfort and participation. It is also difficult to handle from a class management standpoint, since staff get to know their participants which carries into their effectiveness as a coach. We do offer some exceptions, when the the reason is because of a class cancellation, due to weather, or another related issue.

FAQ: Refund Policy

PLA-IT and Revolutionary Sports would like to be flexible with everyone's situations, but will need to share in some of the administrative costs associated with changes in an effort to keep the overall costs low for all participants. If after a service is booked, and if for any reason the fit for your player is not the right one, please contact JohnRichardson@RevolutionarySports.org to request a transfer.

Refund Policy: PLA-IT and Revolutionary Sports have a no refund policy. If the service was booked through a partner directly, then PLA-IT and Revolutionary Sports will defer to the partner's policy.

Transfer Policy:
When requested 7 or more days before the beginning of the program we offer a 100% credit of what you paid to use towards another program.

When requested more than 72 hours but within 7 days of the original program start time, PLA-IT and Revolutionary Sports offer a 90% credit of what was paid to be used towards another program. Payment for service is transferred as a dollar amount to be applied towards a service to be determined now or in the future. The 10% (or minimum of $5) fee is designed to cover administrative costs for transfer and change in staffing.

When requested within 72 hours of the program start time no credit will be available. This is designed to help uphold a high level of staffing and maintain appropriate staffing levels.

All approved transfers will be completed using this process - a credit of the original program is then applied to the new program's current pricing. All credit's must be requested in writing with a short explanation of why requested. PLA-IT and Revolutionary Sports reserve the right to refuse any transfer requests in particular when overused or abused. Credits can only be used towards current pricing. Past promotional pricing is not valid.

For example, if a program was purchased with a 10% off promotion, only the original dollar amount will be transferred to the new program's current pricing with current promotions. The 10% offer would not carry over to the new registration if a 10% off offer was not currently being offered.

If a week or multiple-day package was purchased, individual days may not be transferred, unless the entire week is transferred.
